Duties
- Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately
- Perform stock replenishment, stocking, and order picking activities to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
- Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling tasks in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Support packaging, loading, and unloading operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate inventory control records and assist with warehouse audits and cycle counts
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments with a focus on inventory management and order fulfillment
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 systems, RF scanners, and inventory control procedures
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving tasks
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus
