Duties

- Perform various dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries with precision and care.
- Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
- Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during procedures.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with dental office management software. (Eagle Soft)
- Strong background in prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures including dental extractions.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures aligned with OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging results accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance for safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
