MWHis currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to support the mechanical packages and lead a team of construction professionals on a critical water treatment plant construction project based out of Gresham, Oregon.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Equivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

About The Role
MWHis currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to support the mechanical packages and lead a team of construction professionals on a critical water treatment plant construction project based out of Gresham, Oregon.
Package-Specific Mechanical Scope
Typical mechanical scopes may include, but are not limited to:
- Process piping and pipe supports
- Pumps, blowers, mixers, and treatment process equipment, valves, gates, actuators, and appurtenances
- Chemical feed systems and storage equipment
- HVAC systems serving treatment facilities
- Mechanical equipment installation, alignment, and testing
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the mechanical package from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage mechanical subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance
- Oversee budget management, cost forecasting, and change management for mechanical scopes
- Coordinate mechanical installation activities with civil, electrical, and process teams
- Ensure mechanical systems meet drawings, specifications, and operational requirements
- Lead mechanical support for startup, commissioning, and system turnover
- Champion safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- 7 years of construction project management or mechanical project leadership experience
- Manage mechanical packages in value of $100 million
- Demonstrated experience managing mechanical scopes on water or wastewater treatment facilities
- Strong understanding of process piping, pumps, valves, and treatment equipment
- Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and owner turnover activities
- Working knowledge of construction cost control, scheduling, and change management
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Equivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Financial acumen with strong cost and schedule control skills
- Ability to manage complex mechanical scopes in active treatment plant environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CMiC, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems preferred
