Orange County | Special Events Sales Leadership Opportunity
I’m partnering with a high-profile, privately operated venue group in Orange County that is expanding its Special Events Sales team.
This is about private, revenue-driven events — galas, fundraisers, charity events, school functions, corporate socials, and large-scale private bookings that activate iconic venues when public events are dark.
Two roles are open:
• One Orange County–based venue events seller
• One experienced events professional from LA, San Diego, or another major market who has relocated (or is willing to) and can work onsite
What they’re looking for:
• 5 years in Special Events or Venue Event Sales
• Proven track record of $1M annually in event revenue
• Experience selling multiple venues is a strong plus
• Comfortable prospecting, networking, touring spaces, and closing
• Collaborative, low-ego, team-first mindset (culture matters here)
The role:
• $75K–$100K base commission
• Monday–Friday onsite, with time in the field meeting clients
• Less than 20% travel (select industry events)
• Team and individual sales goals
• Strong partnership with internal event logistics teams (you sell — they execute)
Environment & tools:

• Event software experience required (Momentus Elite / Prismm preferred or similar platforms)
The venues are part of a large-scale, mixed-use destination redefining live experiences in Orange County.
