- Plan and monitor production schedules for manufacturing & outside vendors
- Responsible for plan and schedules workflow for each operation according to manufacturing sequences
- Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Will need to prepare and analyze production reports
- Minimize inventory investment to meet customer service expectations
- Continuously monitor work order instructions to improve processes
- Issue requisitions of material, equipment, and supplies needed to maintain and produce products
- Evaluate local suppliers’ performance to ensure that inventories are maintained, and deliveries are timely
- Comply with the purchasing department budgets
- Review purchase order claims and contracts and report findings to Corporate Procurement Leadership
- Work with Corporate Procurement Leadership to assess market demands/conditions to assure stability of the supply chain
- Adhere to Corporate Purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
- Fully understand and execute Quality System Requirements
- Review and evaluate specifications for issuing material and supplies
- Knowledge of and competency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must have excellent prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, & work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong understanding of information ordering
- Strong analytical skills and material knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding financial impacts of the Supply Chain
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum two (2) years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience required
