Janitor

Key Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize factory floors, production areas, restrooms, offices, and break rooms

· Operate floor scrubbers, sweep machines, buffers, and other industrial cleaning equipment

· Sweep, mop, scrub, and remove debris from warehouse and manufacturing areas

· Empty trash, recycling, and industrial waste containers

· Clean spills and maintain safe walkways to prevent hazards

· Restock restroom and cleaning supplies

· Follow all OSHA, safety, and company sanitation procedures

· Assist with cleaning around machinery and equipment during shutdown periods

· Remove dust, dirt, grease, and other buildup from surfaces

· Report maintenance, safety, or repair issues to supervisors

· Support general facility upkeep and organization

Qualifications

· Previous janitorial, warehouse, or factory cleaning experience preferred

· Experience operating floor scrubbers and industrial sweep machines preferred

· Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift

· Comfortable standing, bending, walking, and working around machinery

· Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

· Manufacturing and industrial facility setting

· Exposure to dust, noise, machinery, and varying temperatures

· May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Possible overtime, evening, or weekend shifts depending on production needs
