Position Details: Temporary Full Time
Join MVSB’s retail banking team this summer in a temporary full-time seasonal position, where friendly, motivated individuals can gain valuable experience while making a real impact.
Seasonal Bank Teller rate of pay is $20.00 per hour and payable bi-weekly on Fridays
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of on track to graduate high school or high school diploma or equivalency
- Previous related experience and/or training in a customer service environment
- Intermediate use of desktop applications
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to travel between branch locations
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process customer deposits, account withdrawals, cashing checks, issuing bank and travelers checks, issuing and redeeming savings bonds and processing loan payments
- Promotes and sells bank products and services to new and existing customers
- Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently
