A fantastic Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is looking to hire an experienced PTA to join their in-house rehab department.

Position Summary :

The PTA provides direct rehab care under a licensed Physical Therapist's supervision, following all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements :

Education : Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).

Licensure : Active PTA license in good standing.

Experience : Preferably one year in post-acute care or a related setting.

CPR Certification : Must be current upon hire or obtained during orientation.

Specific Skills :

Community health project participation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Effective liaison with patients, families, and support departments.

Good body mechanics and independent decision-making.

Knowledge of post-acute care regulations and guidelines.

Strong communication and professional relationship skills.

Confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Essential Functions :

Follow treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.

Maintain accurate and timely charting.

Use therapy software correctly.

Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.

Assist in patient evacuations if needed.

Demonstrate regular attendance and reliability.

Use reasoning and good judgment skills.

Work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move during working hours.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
