Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or
- 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Work Location: On-site only. This position requires in-person services and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for clients assigned to their caseload.
- Meet productivity standards in accordance with organizational policies and performance expectations.
- Conduct ASAM assessments for continued stays and admissions to appropriate levels of care.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update client-centered treatment plans using the SMART framework for goal setting.
- Complete all required clinical documentation and billing documentation within 24 hours of providing clinical services.
- Maintain client records in compliance with federal, state, county, and organizational documentation standards.
- Conduct client outreach and referral follow-up as appropriate to support engagement and continuity of care.
- Complete urine drug screenings (UDS) as required by program guidelines.
- Complete client discharge documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Connect clients with community resources and supportive services to address identified treatment and recovery needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and promote positive client outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in accordance with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and other organizational activities as required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master's degree preferred, depending on program requirements).
- Relevant counseling certification and/or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, as required by state regulations.
- Experience working with individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders preferred.
- Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, treatment planning, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented practices.
- Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
