- Job Description:**We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Media, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals at an outpatient level, diagnosed with a mental health disorder. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and group sessions, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our clients.
- Responsibilities:**- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with mental health diagnoses.- Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and other staff members to ensure coordinated care.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based practices to improve quality of care to clients
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.- Candidates seeking licensure as an LPC or LCSW encouraged to apply. LPC supervision provided for individual's seeking licensure in Pennsylvania.- At least one year experience required. Practicum and internship counts as experience if in a mental health outpatient setting.- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Commitment to providing culturally competent and client-centered care.
