Job Summary:

As a vital part of our housekeeping department, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean, fresh, and inviting—upholding the high standards of the IHG brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Replace used amenities, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and disinfect surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate department.
- Respect guests’ privacy and adhere to “Do Not Disturb” policies.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Ensure lost and found items are reported and documented properly.
- Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and timelines.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet service goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred, but not required—training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful with a positive attitude.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
