As a System Engineer at MVG, you will serve as the technical authority for advanced antenna measurement systems, with a focus on spherical near-field and multi-probe technologies for defense and space applications. You will define, drive, and deliver system-level technical solutions that meet customer requirements, performance targets, quality standards, schedule, and cost objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced RF or electrical engineering professional who can lead multidisciplinary technical execution and act as a credible customer-facing expert.

🚀 Responsibilities:
- Define and own the system architecture for spherical near-field and multi-probe antenna measurement systems.
- Lead the technical execution of Engineering Work Packages across Mechanical, RF, Software, Chamber, Absorber, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- - Drive the translation of customer requirements into compliant, optimized measurement system solutions aligned with performance, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
- - Ensure system alignment with antenna measurement standards, including IEEE 149 and IEEE 1720, as well as measurement accuracy, repeatability, and overall performance goals.
- - Manage technical quality gates including PDR, CDR, FDR, ATP, and SAT, ensuring readiness, traceability, and compliance.
- - Collaborate with the Program Manager as the senior technical partner, supporting technical leadership, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
- - Implement configuration management, version control, BOM consistency, and technical traceability across the full system lifecycle.
✅ Requirements:
- - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- - Minimum 4 years of experience in system engineering for antenna measurement systems or RF test systems.
- - Strong background in antenna measurement systems, including system architecture, integration, and validation.
- - Knowledge of IEEE 149 and IEEE 1720 antenna measurement standards.
- - Proven experience leading system-level technical execution in regulated environments.
- - Ability to act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, with excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and ability to comply with U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations.
🌟 Nice to Have:
- - Experience with spherical near-field and/or multi-probe measurement systems.
- - Understanding of near-field to far-field transformations and measurement uncertainty concepts.
- - Experience working with defense or space customers and familiarity with ECSS, MILSTD, or equivalent standards.
- - Proficiency with Matlab, EM simulation tools, and/or SystemVue, plus experience using PDM/PLM systems for configuration management and complex BOM control.
