Position Summary
The Innovation & Prefabrication Manager develops and scales construction innovation and prefabrication capabilities across the organization.
Core Objectives
- Continuous improvement of construction methods.
- Reduction of labor risks.
- Increase in predictability and elimination of repeat inefficiencies.
Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities
· Prefab Strategy & Execution
o Develop, standardize, and scale prefabrication strategies across applicable projects.
o Identify opportunities where prefab improves safety, labor efficiency, schedule certainty, or quality.
o Establish prefab standards, workflows, and integration points with project planning.
o Implement and enhance prefab operations ensuring lean practices and principles
· Construction Innovation & Methods
o Identify repeat construction inefficiencies across projects and translate them into standardized solutions.
o Improve construction methods, sequencing, and installation approaches to reduce variability and rework.
o Pilot, evaluate, and refine new construction techniques, tools, and workflows.
· Early Project Advisory & Cross‑Functional Support
o Advise Project Managers and Field Supervisors on constructability, sequencing, and labor leverage early in projects.
o Support pre‑construction and early planning phases to reduce downstream labor and schedule risk.
o Partner with Project Management to ensure innovation efforts align with project constraints and priorities.
· Standardization & Knowledge Transfer
o Convert successful innovations into documented standards and repeatable practices.
o Ensure field‑adoptable solutions through collaboration with supervisors and crews.
o Provide guidance and training to support adoption of new methods.
· Innovation Roadmap & Continuous Improvement
o Own and maintain the construction innovation and prefab roadmap.
o Prioritize initiatives based on impact, scalability, and operational value.
o Track outcomes and refine approaches based on performance and field feedback.
Skill / Ability / Attribute Requirements
· Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and labor productivity.
· Ability to identify patterns and translate problems into scalable solutions.
· Practical, field‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.
· Strong collaboration and influence skills without direct execution authority.

· Clear communication and ability to drive adoption across teams.
Education / Experience / Certification Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent trade and leadership experience will be considered.
· 3–5 years of experience in construction with demonstrated involvement in construction methods, prefabrication, or productivity improvement initiatives.
· Proven ability to identify repeat execution inefficiencies and translate them into standardized, scalable solutions.
· Experience collaborating with project management and field leadership during early project phases to influence constructability, sequencing, and labor efficiency.
· Strong credibility with field teams; prior hands‑on field experience strongly preferred.
