This role can be based 100% remotely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Lending Systems Administrator will be responsible for administration, configuration, maintenance, and management of the loan origination systems for commercial lending to ensure maximum usage of the available technology.

    This includes the administration of all ancillary internal and third-party lending systems including e-Tran, credit bureaus, valuation services, etc. This position will also be responsible for providing systems training, data reporting and analytics for all members of the Bank's commercial lending functions including Commercial Lending, Credit/Underwriting, Loan Processing and Loan Administration to ensure that all operating objectives are achieved.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide comprehensive product ownership of the loan origination system to include products, pricing, auto-decision rules, business rules, configuration, troubleshooting, training, document and external system integrations
  • Define, maintain, and own the product roadmap, backlog, and execution of initiatives to deploy new features and functionality in collaboration with business needs
  • Work with business stakeholders/partners across the business to create and deliver a product strategy that aligns with our company goals
  • Incorporate stakeholder input into product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and customer
  • Perform routine administrative functions such as data extracts, running reports, implementing releases/upgrades, enhancements and maintenance functions staying within parameters of internal loan codes and loan policy
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, analyze, discover, and resolve data integrity issues in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
  • Work in conjunction with IT to develop and manage user roles, implement system changes, upgrades, and enhancements and to develop and maintain testing criteria for such changes
  • Direct third parties/vendors on execution of initiatives while maintaining a strong risk posture
  • Function as top-level support for business line and end users, assisting with their daily questions, concerns and proper usage of systems
  • Identify training needs, prepare, and facilitate training for end users; this includes new employee training, regulatory changes, new features, and refresher training as required
  • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of LOS software development efforts as well as any loan ancillary systems integrated or stand alone in conjunction with LOS e.g., ABL, SBA, Construction Monitoring, Loan Documentation in collaboration with Information Technology
  • Serve as project team member in organizational or departmental projects.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • 5 years' experience in commercial lending and operations with strong background in product ownership and/or system administration
  • Experience working with Sageworks/Abrigo and Jack Henry software platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to document and maintain LOS configuration and process information
  • Adept at reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation (upgrade/release data);
  • Outside-in mindset with penchant for uncovering Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights to drive best-in-class lending experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; Independently structures, analyzes, synthesizes, and presents findings with minimum direction
  • Strong sense of urgency with a bias for action
  • Strong partnership skills with ability to navigate the organization and build relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
