Construction Management Intern

Muza Sheet Metal
Windsor, WI Intern
POSTED ON 10/27/2026

MUZA is a family-oriented, customer-focused, and relationship-driven architectural sheet metal manufacturing and installation firm. We pride ourselves on our strong company culture, deep-rooted values, and commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects while building strong client relationships. We are seeking a year-round Construction Management Intern to add to our team!

This internship is designed to give you real-world experience in multiple areas of our business. You'll begin by learning the estimating process – how projects are evaluated, priced, and won. As you develop your skills, you'll have opportunities to gain exposure to Project Management and experience how projects are executed from award through completion.

Our goal is to develop the next generation of construction professionals. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to continue their career at MUZA in a full-time Estimating or Project Management role following graduation.

What You'll Learn & Do

Estimating

  • Learn how commercial construction projects are bid from concept through proposal.
  • Assist with preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from plans and specifications.
  • Help gather pricing from vendors and suppliers.
  • Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating documentation.
  • Learn how to analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings.
  • Assist with maintaining estimating databases and cost information.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, general contractors, and architects throughout the bidding process.

Project Management
As your experience grows, you may have the opportunity to spend time with our Project Management team to:

  • Assist with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, contracts, and closeout packages.
  • Help coordinate project schedules, materials, and resources.
  • Participate in project meetings and jobsite visits.
  • Learn how project managers communicate with customers, suppliers, and field teams.
  • Assist with tracking project progress and resolving day-to-day project needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus.

Why MUZA?

At MUZA, interns aren't just observers, they're part of the team. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, visit active construction projects, and gain exposure to both the preconstruction and project execution sides of the business. Our goal is to give you meaningful experience, help you build practical skills, and prepare you for a successful career in construction.
