Muza Sheet Metal Company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Sheet Shop Laborer / Pre-Apprentice – 2nd Shift to join Team Muza!
No experience necessary – training and tools will be provided!
This position offers the opportunity to transition into our long-standing, highly respected Apprenticeship Program. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Sheet Metal Journeymen with daily tasks in the shop
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including routine daily upkeep
- Support fabrication processes, including flashing and panel fabrication
- Operate Muza company trucks as needed
- Safely load, strap, and secure trailers for transport
- Refuel and maintain company vehicles
- Wash and detail company trucks and work vehicles regularly
- Operate forklift (training and certification provided if not already certified)
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or HSED (required for Apprenticeship eligibility)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Sheet Metal experience preferred, but not required
