Position Summary

The essential duties of this position include ensuring that only high-quality products are produced and properly packaged. The employee will assist with loading and packaging products onto pallets, which will then be wrapped and placed into inventory. This role will occasionally require operating a forklift to move palletized products.

In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining general plant cleanliness and organization, as well as performing routine equipment clean-up and basic maintenance throughout the day.

Physical Requirements

This position requires manual labor, including frequent bending, twisting, and lifting. The ability to lift and move items weighing between 60 and 90 pounds is required.

Schedule

This is a four-day, 10-hour schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime may be required 

Qualifications

• Must be detail, safety, and quality orientated; careful attention to detail is required.
• Understand units of measure and be able to perform general mathematical equations.
• This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing.
• Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, 80 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours.
• Prior mechanical experience or being mechanically inclined (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is preferred.
• Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.
