Part-time Insurance Inspector

This information is developed through independent contractors performing on-site inspections and underwriting surveys for residential properties, commercial properties/operations and agricultural properties. We assess conditions found as well as identify hazards that may lead to claims activity, injury or loss of life. We also gather data to assist the insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values for buildings and dwellings.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based position. The Insurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting property inspections, assessing risks and policy compliance, and documenting findings in detailed reports. The role also requires clear communication with policyholders, performing visual inspections, and identifying any potential hazards or compliance issues while adhering to company standards. We are hiring in multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, observation skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with documentation, reporting, and related software tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required
• Experience in insurance inspections or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory
