Dog Bather/Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Duties

• Bathe and groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
• Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures.
• Inspect pets for any skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities, reporting findings to the veterinarian or pet owners as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming requirements.
• Assist with drying, brushing, and styling of pets post-bath.
• Ensure all animals are treated with kindness and respect throughout the grooming process.
• Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of animal care practices, including basic grooming techniques.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
• Ability to lift heavy animals safely and perform physical tasks associated with grooming.
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions.
• Passion for working with animals and commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
