Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. Looking for someone with experience on the grill mainly cooking burgers. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus that meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
• Assist in meal preparation for catering events as needed.
• Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adjust seasonings and ingredients based on taste preferences.
• Demonstrate excellent knife skills for food preparation tasks.
• Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Fine dining experience is a plus, showcasing an understanding of high-quality food service.
• Proven background even if minimal in the food industry with hands-on cooking experience, particularly in grilling.
• Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
