Responsibilities include:
Prospect and identify new sales opportunities in assigned territory
Conduct site assessments to recommend appropriate generator solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and decision-makers
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Negotiate contracts and close deals
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitors
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Position requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in generator, electrical equipment, or oil and gas
Strong technical understanding of generators, power systems, and related electrical/mechanical components
Demonstrated success in territory management, lead generation, and closing deals in a competitive market
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—with the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical customers
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail during site evaluations and solution development
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to interpret and understand site plans, electrical schematics, and load calculations (preferred but not required)
