What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Handler position at MUST LOVE DOGS?
Dog daycare and overnight boarding kennel seeking a passionate and committed dog handler.
Part time and full time positions, between 18-36 hours per week avg. If you can't work weekends or holidays, this position is not for you.
Requirements:
Must love dogs and look forward to spending your days with them.
Be familiar with dog behaviors and willing to interfere when necessary.
Must be confident in groups of dogs, and able to maintain control over a group of dogs.
Our kennel techs are responsible for supervising, feeding, and watering all dogs, as well as maintaining the safety, health, and cleanliness of the dogs and play areas.
Must be willing and able to clean kennels and play areas with a commitment to meeting the standard of cleanliness.
Ability to precisely follow detailed directions for feeding, exercising and providing care to each specific dog.
Must bring a good attitude and energy while working with customers, dogs, and co-workers.
Physical ability to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds, when needed.
Must be reliable, responsible and on time for work every day.
Must be familiar with social media and willing to engage on our platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok)
Availability to work weekends & holidays
