A current vacancy exists for a Kindergarten Learning Support/Autistic Support Teacher within the Norristown Area School District. This position is located at Musselman Learning Center.
Qualifications:
- PA Elementary Special Education Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Experience working with Special Education Students preferred
- FBI, PA Criminal Background and Child Abuse clearances
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Duties & Job Responsibilities:

Maintain IEP and RR compliance.
- Complete FBAs and write and implement PBSPs.
- Maintains accurate data on students' daily progress and progress towards students' goals.

Maintains professional attitude.

Communicates with parents/guardians about student’s progress.

Demonstrates appropriate language.

Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate toward District Goals.

Evidences planning which reflects objectives and activities based on students' needs.

2025-2026 Salary Schedule:
experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed step 10
Bachelor's - $58,165 to $73,581 (Step 10)
Bachelor's 24 - $62,490 to $81,256 (Step 10)
Master's - $66,299 to $88,419 (Step 10)
Master's 15 - $69,165 to $92,419 ((Step 10)
Master's 30 - $72,026 to $96,420 (Step 10)
Master's 45 - $72,528 to $96,959 (Step 10)
Doctorate/Master's 60 - $73,028 to $97,497 (Step 10)
