The organization provides critical resources, advocacy, and a supportive network to ensure that every child feels safe and cared for. Recognizing the urgent need for Muslim foster families and volunteers, the organization works to empower communities to meet this growing demand.


Role Description

The Muslim Foster Care Association (MFCA) is looking for a Project & Development Manager to lead the launch of our first-ever Support & Resource Center—a space dedicated to serving Muslim foster youth and families—and to help expand our reach across Michigan.

This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up while making a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable youth.

This part-time hybrid role, based in southeast Michigan allows for flexibility with some work from home.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and launch of MFCA’s Resource Center in Southeast Michigan
  • Identify and secure a primary space for the center
  • Build partnerships with mosques and community organizations
  • Secure satellite program spaces in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Jackson
  • Manage timelines, logistics, and site setup
  • Create systems to support programming across multiple locations

  • Experience in nonprofit work, space development, or partnerships is a plus
