ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
All basic tasks of building and grounds care which include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, waxing, dusting, trash removal, moving of furniture and supplies set-up and take down of equipment, and shoveling. Accommodating the public's or district's use of school facilities and other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements Of Essential Functions
Must be capable on a continuous basis of standing, walking, stair climbing, reaching, handling and gripping without difficulty, repetitive movement of both hands and arms. Must be capable, on a frequent basis, of bending, stooping, pushing or pulling heavy objects, lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Must be capable, on an occasional basis, of climbing ladders, driving a light truck or cleaning equipment, or working at heights up to 30 feet about the ground.
Qualifications
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. As a condition of initial and continued employment, the employee shall be a positive role model for students.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in custodial work preferred.
- Knowledge of basic custodial equipment and supplies.
- Ability to get along with and communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, staff, students, supervisors and public.
- Dependable work record and positive work attitude.
- Positive work attitude.
