ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with students, staff, and parents, and possess positive public communication skills and written skills. Candidate must be an organized and efficient team player who can contribute to the smooth operation of a busy school. The position is primarily direct classroom support, lunchroom and recess supervision, but will also include operating office machines, typing, student management and supervision, and other duties, as assigned by an administrator.
Qualifications
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. As a condition of initial and continued employment, the employee shall be a positive role model for students.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Red Cross and CPR certified or willing to take CPR/First Aid class.
- Dependable work record.
- Positive work attitude.
- Ability to supervise and work effectively with students.
- Ability to get along and communicate well with staff, students, and public.
- Must be flexible and able to work independently.
- Ability to use variety of office equipment and machines.
- Previous reception desk experience a plus.
- Previous office clerical experience a plus.
- Must exhibit excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and follow procedures.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Has an understanding of students ages 4-10 and their social and emotional needs.
- Teaching license not required but preferred.
