Lighting Sales/Design

We are looking for a full time Lighting Sales/ Design Representative

Job Description: Work with customers and peers promoting and recommending lighting products, plans and creating designs, everything from one light to a complete house of lights. He/she will effectively pursue sales and manage customer requests for quotes/orders as they come into the retail stores, as well as designers and builders.

Job Scope/Requirements:

• Willing to learn lighting industry and sales techniques
• Computer literate
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• The ability to answer technical questions about lighting in a team environment
• Works well with customers and co-workers
• Utilize sales skills and techniques, as well as exceptional customer service, to drive store sales.
• Perform all required cash register transactions such as sales and exchanges expeditiously and with a high level of accuracy, while staying within company guidelines.
• Assist in other store functions as needed.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of product features, benefits and availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store by organizing and cleaning the retail store as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service/assistance both in person and on the phone.
• Maintain a high professional standard in individual behavior, courtesy and respect
• Other duties as assigned
