What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRUCK DRIVER / CREW IN JERSEY CITY position at Musical Chairs?
TRUCK DRIVERS / CREW WANTED – JERSEY CITY
Musical Chairs is hiring!
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking truck drivers with a great attitude to join our team, ideally based in or around Jersey City / North Jersey.
We provide furniture and backstage rentals for concerts, tours and live events, so this is definitely not just a driving job— we need people who are happy to get stuck in!
What you'll be doing:
- Driving our trucks to venues and events
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Working alongside our warehouse and event crews
- Delivering and collecting furniture and equipment
- Helping keep trucks organized and properly packed
- Representing Musical Chairs professionally when working at venues
What we're looking for:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Experience driving 26FT box trucks
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting and loading
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and a team-player mentality
- Comfortable with the unusual hours that come with the concert and live-event world
- Ideally located close to our Jersey City warehouse
Experience in concerts, touring, events, production, furniture rental or similar is a big plus — but attitude and reliability are just as important to us.
If you're the kind of person who can drive the truck, help unload it, get the job done and still have a smile on your face, we'd love to hear from you.
Interested? Send us a little about yourself, your driving experience and your availability.
