This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher located in Plainsboro, NJ. The Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering music lessons, providing instruction in music theory and performance, and guiding students in their musical development. The role also involves preparing students for recitals and other performances, fostering a love of music among students, and adapting lessons to meet individual learning styles and capabilities.
- Proficiency in Music Theory and an ability to teach concepts effectively
- Skill in Music Performance and providing practical guidance for instruments and/or vocals
- Experience in Music Education and curriculum development
- Proficiency in Piano, with the capability to teach piano to various skill levels
- Dedication to fostering students' creativity, confidence, and musical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field; relevant certification is a plus
- Experience working with students of different age groups and skill levels is advantageous
