The Role
We're looking for a passionate, reliable Part-Time Violin Teacher to join our growing team. You'll teach private lessons to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advancing players, in a professional, family-friendly studio environment.
What You'll Do
- Teach private violin lessons to students ranging from young beginners to adults
- Adapt your teaching style to each student's age, personality, and goals
- Prepare students for our live student concerts held at real performance venues
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and studio staff
- Follow our proven student retention programs including Play Journals and Concerts
What We're Looking For
- Solid proficiency on violin; ability to teach across skill levels
- Genuine love for teaching and helping students grow: Ability to keep student interested/excited in lessons
- Patient and encouraging with kids and adults alike
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to use devices such as iPads for note taking and other activities in studio
- Performance-minded — excited to get students stage-ready

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A minimum intermediate skill level in reading sheet music.
- Ability to play Violin. Viola, and Cello would be great additions but not required.
- Formal music training and/or display understanding of fundamental musical concepts are required.
- Available to work a minimum of two afternoons or evenings a week, Saturdays are an additional option.Preferred Skills:
- Passionate about working with student / easily connects with people
- Happy to work with technology, using tablets, etc.
- Open to performing in public
- Open to accepting coaching
- Open to both using our preset curriculum and creating your own as needed
- Loves to teach both private lessons and small group classes.
