Contract Term
- 12-month base period from 18 May 2026 to 17 May 2027. - Two 12-month option periods at the discretion of the chapel
- Option periods are at the discretion of the Government and may not be exercised.

Service Schedule
- Catholic Worship: Sunday Mass (52/year), Seasonal/Special (19/year), Memorials (6/year), Rehearsals (52/year)
- Protestant Worship: Sunday Services (52/year), Seasonal/Special (12/year), Memorials (5/year), Choir Rehearsals (52/year), Vacation Bible School (5/year), Miscellaneous (55/year)
Personnel Qualifications
- Must be able to sight read music and play piano and organ.
- Familiar with liturgical and/or contemporary worship service formats.
- Minimum two years of military music ministry experience.
- Ability to play liturgical or contemporary Christian music.
Substitution Clause
- Contractor must notify Technical Representative in advance if unable to perform.
- Contractor must provide an acceptable replacement meeting all qualifications and approved by Technical Representative.
Government Responsibilities
- Base Chaplain's Office provides access to musical instruments (Allen R300 Organ, Kawai GL-40 Grand Piano).
- Technical Representative provides hymnals and musical materials; all materials purchased remain property of the Government.
Performance Requirements Summary
- Provision of accompaniment (organ and piano): Direction for all congregational music and singing required during worship services.
- Cooperation with chapel community: Provide appropriate musical accompaniment and choral direction for Christmas and Thanksgiving services.
- Administration: Meet monthly with Priest/Chaplain, submit notices and announcements.
- Musical interpretation: Be proficient and competent in performance and able to sight read music.
- Absences: Written notice for absences, ensure qualified and approved substitute.
- Conduct: Work peacefully with others, disciplined and orderly behavior aligned with Marine Corps standards.
Notification of Absences
- Contractor must notify Technical Representative by telephone or email when unable to perform services due to illness, inclement weather, or emergency.
