Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels
- Instruct students in music theory, technique, and performance across one or more instruments or vocal disciplines
- Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and families
- Develop and maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and growth
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and musical milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and goals
- Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and lesson records
Requirements:
- Proficiency in one or more instruments or vocal performance disciplines
- Prior teaching experience in music education, private instruction, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of music theory, ear training, and performance techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students of all ages
- Patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching style
- Ability to manage a consistent lesson schedule and maintain professional reliability
- Music degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
