Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive string lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels
- Deliver engaging piano and violin instruction that emphasizes proper technique
- Foster a supportive and motivating classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Incorporate various teaching methods, including curriculum development, to enhance learning outcomes
- Organize performance pieces for use in student showcases and recitals.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or other educators to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and lesson plans
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching string techniques or music education, with a strong understanding of music theory
- Background in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups including children and adults
- Classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging and disciplined learning environment
- Experience working with children, early childhood education, or special education is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for effective instruction and feedback

- Experience in tutoring or one-on-one instruction preferred
