Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our growing meal prep company. This role blends customer interaction with hands-on operational support and requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage responsibilities both independently and alongside others in a fast-paced environment.
Please note: Weekends are our highest production days, and availability to work scheduled weekend shifts is required for this role. Candidates must be consistently available during our peak operating hours, as these shifts are essential to overall team performance and customer service.
The required shift schedule for this position is as follows:
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Reliability and punctuality during these designated hours are critical, as these are key coverage periods for our operations. Consistent attendance during these shifts is a requirement of the role.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, assist with purchases, order pickups and questions while providing a friendly, professional experience
- Clearly communicate menu details, ingredients, dietary information, and weekly offerings to customers when asked
- Process in-store purchases accurately using point-of-sale (POS) system (Toast experience a plus, but not necessary)
- Handle cash, credit card, and gift card payments responsibly in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare smoothies and beverages to order, following established recipes, portion standards, and sanitation guidelines
- Package, label, and organize prepared meals according to company recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines when needed
- Recommend add-ons and rewards program to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house areas including counters, refrigerators, pickup stations, and customer areas
- Restock packaging materials, bags, beverages, and front-of-house supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or fast-casual environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with confidence interacting with customers throughout the day
- Ability to stay organized, focused, and productive when working independently or within a shared workflow
- Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Confident recommending products and menu options
- Familiarity with POS system (Toast) experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling standards is a plus
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to contribute positively in a collaborative work environment
- Availability to work required weekend shifts
