We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to support our after-school music programs. This role involves working with young children in grades K-6, guiding them in their musical education and helping with group activities. The job will require traveling to different school locations in Thornton and Aurora.
Responsibilities:
- Teach music lessons for children, focusing on instruments and group performances.
- Help create a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Support classroom management and discipline in line with program rules.
- Collaborate with Music 4 Humans to prepare lesson plans and activities.
- Travel to various school locations in the Denver Metro area.
Qualifications:
- Previous Music teaching experience, particularly with young children.
- Strong musical background.
- Ability to undergo an extensive background check.
- Excellent communication skills and patience with children.
- Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about music education.
Salary:
Starting at $40 per hour during training. Once training is completed and the assistant takes over their own classes, there will be a significant raise.
