What You’ll Accomplish Data Analytics

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting regular data entry, cleanup, and exception report reviews to maintain high-quality records in Advancement systems.
  • Support strategic decision-making by pulling data lists and reports that provide key insights for fundraising and engagement initiatives.
  • Streamline data management processes through efficient uploads, updates, and organization of advancement-related records, ensuring accessibility and usability.
  • Enhance event effectiveness by managing data entry for event participation, tracking engagement, and providing logistical support for advancement-related events.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate responses to requests by fulfilling various data and reporting needs from internal stakeholders.

Prospect Development

  • Strengthen donor and prospect engagement by conducting thorough prospect research and analysis, ensuring alignment with fundraising strategies.
  • Support portfolio optimization by assisting in portfolio reviews, helping identify and prioritize high-potential prospects for development officers.
  • Enhance prospect development strategies by contributing to key projects such as newly identified donor revamping, refining interest codes, analyzing inclinations, and improving prospect grouping.
  • Provide actionable insights for fundraising teams by researching event attendees and potential donors to maximize engagement and giving opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Technical & Work-Related Competencies

  • Database & CRM Proficiency: Prior experience working with databases and database queries, with a preference for CRM systems.
  • Technical Literacy: Good working knowledge of MS Office and strong online research skills.
  • Writing & Communication: Strong writing skills for clear and effective communication.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates precision and thoroughness in work, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Work Ethic & Reliability: Possesses a strong work ethic with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

Additional Notes

  • This position does not involve coding or computer programming.
  • This position is suited for someone who could commit for a Fall and Spring internship.

When/Where You’ll Work

  • Onsite, max 28 hours per week
  • Preferred half days Mondays and Thursdays (can be flexible)
  • $15.25 an hour

Salary Range: $15.25 USD - $15.25 USD
