Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content that aligns with the company’s creative vision, including weddings, sports events, studio productions, and narrative films. Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, applying editing techniques, incorporating audio elements, and ensuring the final product adheres to high-quality standards. This role will also involve close collaboration with cinematographers, photographers, and creative teams to execute visually compelling and engaging formats.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
- Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to visual and audio details
- Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in post-production workflows and media management
- Ability to collaborate with creative teams and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with visual storyboarding and pre-production planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in photography and graphic design would be an advantage
