Muse Lifestyle Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive in-house Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Recording Financial Transactions: Daily recording of all sales, purchases, and expenses (debits/credits).
- Reconciling Bank Statements: Comparing internal records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Processing vendor invoices, tracking payments, and managing vendor relations.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Issuing invoices to customers and tracking/collecting payments.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Budgeting: Working closely with the Company accounting team and assisting management with the annual budgeting process.
- Compliance and Tax prep: Ensuring compliance with financial laws and preparing documents for tax filing.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software.
- Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and staff regarding financial matters.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced organization with distinct experience of working with various state agencies.
- Strong experience working with QuickBooks.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and ability to use spreadsheets and accounting software to produce key financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, accounts payable (AP) statements and accounts receivable (AR) statements.
- Understanding of basic tax liabilities, including payroll and sales tax.
- Experience with state tax credits and related documentation.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to the preparation of financial statements and making sure that all required tasks are completed as per law and on timely manner.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify errors or discrepancies.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Armenian and/or Russian is a strong plus.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
