Senior Backend Developer, Full Stack

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Full Stack Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications and backend services that support business operations and customer-facing solutions. This role combines advanced backend engineering expertise with front-end integration experience to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise applications across the full development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in software architecture, API development, cloud platforms, and modern web technologies, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build and support full stack web applications using modern frameworks
• Develop scalable microservices and integrations with internal and external systems
• Lead technical design sessions and contribute to architecture decisions
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Ensure applications follow security, compliance, and coding standards
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in full stack and backend software development
• Strong experience with backend languages such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or Go
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Extensive experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Prior technical leadership or mentoring experience

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
