We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team as a Site Construction Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership abilities to oversee and coordinate construction projects effectively.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing construction sites, tools, and materials.
2. Assisting with the transportation, loading, and unloading of building materials, equipment, and tools.
3. Cleaning the construction site, removing debris, unused materials, and hazardous substances.
4. Erecting and dismantling ramps and scaffolding.
5. Demolishing structures based on health and safety regulations.
6. Operating construction equipment, including jackhammers, bulldozers, and payloaders.
7. Mixing and pouring cement to build structures.
8. Assist contractors and tradesmen such as Carpenters, Bricklayers, Masons, Electricians, and Plumbers.
9. Willing to travel with jobs.
Requirements:
A successful candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications needed to perform duties at project sites effectively.
These skills include: 1. Knowledge of building and construction including basic engineering methods and principles.
2. Experience with mixing and pouring construction materials, including mortar, concrete, and grout.
3. Ability to operate construction equipment such as drills, jackhammers, and trench rammers.
4. Exceptional hand-eye coordination and balance.
5. Physical strength and stamina to complete physically demanding work outdoors for long hours.
6. Basic math skills to take accurate measurements while mixing materials on job sites.
7. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
8. Supervision a plus.
