Primary Function: The job of Clerk, Foster Care is done for the purpose/s of assisting with the collection and data entry of student information and with the maintenance of information as is required for compliance with State and Muscogee County School District requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: |

High School Diploma/GED |
2. Certification/License/Testing: |
Additional testing for selected candidates may be required. |
3. Experience: |
Minimum one year of experience or equivalent technical/business certificate |
4. Physical Activities: |
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities |
5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: |
Written and oral communication; typing; communication; computer |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. |
Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. |
2. |
Answers all incoming calls for the purpose of assisting caller or directing to appropriate party. |
3. |
Assists with processing of documents, forms, mailings and materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties. |
4. |
Distributes documents (e.g. mail, supplies, messages, etc.) for the purpose of providing information. |
5. |
Performs record keeping and general and program specific clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, etc.) for the purpose of supporting department staff. |
6. |
Prepares written materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters) for the purpose of conveying information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures. |
7. |
Processes all incoming PONY and U.S. Mail for the purpose of stamping and distributing to appropriate office personnel. |
8. |
Reviews a variety of information for the purpose of ensuring completeness of records. |
9. |
Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their administrative functions. |
10. |
Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator. |
