Sales Intern
The Musco Operational Sales Team has an opening for a Sales Intern at our Corporate Headquarters in Oskaloosa, IA. The Sales Intern supports Muscos Sales Teams by gaining practical experience in sales processes, customer-focused solutions, and field sales support. Through hands-on projects and daily Team collaboration, you will build communication, problem-solving, and project management skills while gaining exposure to Muscos sales organization and Team-first culture. Essential Criteria:
- Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sports and Rec Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Motivated self-starter and collaborative problem solver
- Strong computer skills in standard MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Travel with Regional Sales Associates (RSA) and Sales Representatives to observe and support customer sales calls
- Partner with the Director of USA Field Sales, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Associate Supervisor to support Musco sales functions and Team initiatives
- Work alongside RSAs to build an understanding of the marketplace and Muscos solutions
- Assist with developing plans to complete lighting audits, key market research, and other special projects as assigned
- Support customer tours of Musco facilities by assisting with preparation and coordination
- Conduct detailed market research and contribute to the college conference final group project
- Full-time availability to work, Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 p.m
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and special events
- Overnight travel as needed
- Valid U.S. driver's license required for operating company vehicles
Duration: Summer 2027: June to August
