Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Mover role based in Austin, TX. The Mover will load, transport, and unload household and commercial items, ensuring belongings are handled safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include packing and wrapping furniture, disassembling and reassembling basic items, carrying boxes and equipment, and securing items in the truck to prevent damage. The role also involves following instructions from crew leads or supervisors, performing basic paperwork or digital documentation, and keeping trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Movers are expected to provide courteous, professional customer service on-site, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items for extended periods, including working on stairs and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills to interact respectfully with customers and collaborate with crew members.
• Attention to detail and care in packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading items to minimize damage and ensure secure transport.
• Basic mechanical or hand-tool skills to assist with disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
• Reliable transportation to the job site, consistent punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior moving, warehouse, delivery, or other physical labor experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred; eligibility to operate company vehicles is an advantage.
• Commitment to a safe working environment, following lifting techniques and safety guidelines at all times.
