Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced quick serve environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, maintaining accurate cash drawers, and assisting with various store operations.

Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold store policies and procedures regarding returns, exchanges, and other customer service issues.
• Demonstrate basic math skills to accurately process transactions and provide change.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficient in cash handling and familiar with POS systems.
• Basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as needed.
