Job Description Summary

The Pediatric Quality and Safety Data Analyst reports to the Pediatric Quality and Safety Manager and assists in extracting and organizing EMR data, data analysis, and completing strategic projects to assist ICCE departments in standing up and maintaining their QAPI programs. This role identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets. Areas of analysis span several topics and are not restricted to one functional area. Examples include program evaluation, operations research, business planning, process design, strategy development, policy issues, profitability assessments, and major implementations.

Job Description

The Pediatric Quality and Safety Data Analyst will abstract, interpret and present complex data as it relates to pediatric registries, quality improvement program standards, and national safety network metrics in an understandable and compelling manner to assist stakeholders in developing projects based on trends.

Minimum Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years of demonstrated project support work experience required; Nursing degree with (2) years clinical experience strongly preferred.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to take direction and support a variety of projects.
  • Work closely with ICCE leaders, clinicians, and other key stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and identify solutions.
  • Anticipate potential data-related challenges and provide innovative, intelligent solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making processes.
  • Able to conduct research and educate oneself in unfamiliar areas in order to gain expertise and successfully assist with a variety of projects.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative approach when working with stakeholders.
  • Exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation.
