Provide administrative coverage at the front desk. Performs tasks which are essential to the operation of the department. Uses knowledge of operations and programs to make independent decisions and establish procedures that assist the entire department. The employee functions as an out-patient scheduler, registration of patients for respective locations. The employee also processes incoming calls to appropriate individuals.
Additional Job Description
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred. Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
