Job Description/Summary: MRI technologists operate MRI scanners that take images of patients’ bodies to assist with diagnostic testing. Minimum Training and Education: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Copy of academic degree or transcript required.
