Job Description Summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina.

This position will provide administrative and clinical oversight to the day treatment program within the assigned school district. This position will be located and working in person in the Rock Hill School District.

Job Description

The School Based Day Treatment Manager works under the Director of School Based Behavioral Health and provides direct supervision to the day treatment staff including but not limited to therapeutic assistant(s), day treatment therapists(s) and clinical counselors. The manager works to ensure appropriate access for all students in the assigned school district. The manager works closely with The Center for Telehealth, Department of Psychiatry and Behavior Sciences, and other entities in the organization to optimize school based behavioral health services ensuring all aspects of the program- clinical, administrative, academic and budgetary are met.

Minimum Education And Experience

Master's or Doctorate degree in social work from an accredited program. Work Experience: 4-6 years

Licensure: Current SC LISW license

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
