As a Master’s Social Worker in our Case Management Department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments. You’ll be a trusted guide—helping them navigate the emotional, social, and practical implications of medical situations while coordinating meaningful programs and services that improve quality of life.
What You’ll Do
- Interview clients and families to assess social and emotional needs
- Coordinate and plan individualized programs and activities
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
- Help families understand the complexities and lifestyle impacts of medical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
- Use sound clinical judgment and creativity to meet evolving client needs
- Work independently under general supervision with latitude to innovate
- 2–4 years of experience in social work or a related field
- Strong knowledge of standard social work concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to think critically, act compassionately, and manage multiple priorities
- Confidence in crisis intervention and family support
Education & Credentials
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in South Carolina (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
