Job Description
As Director, you’ll serve as the strategic and operational heartbeat of our inpatient rehabilitation unit. You’ll champion quality outcomes, strengthen census growth, and ensure regulatory excellence — all while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Implement monitoring and measurement tools to ensure program effectiveness
- Provide data-driven feedback and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive continuous process improvement and documentation excellence
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Maintain certification standards and regulatory compliance
- Lead documentation improvement initiatives
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination to optimize outcomes
- Serve as a key marketer for the program, strengthening referral relationships
- Collaborate with physicians, hospital leaders, and community partners
- Develop and execute plans to support census growth and program stability
- Act as the primary liaison between the rehab unit and hospital leadership
- Proactively address operational and clinical challenges
- Foster strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Additional Job Description
What You Bring
- BSN from an accredited nursing program (required)
- Master’s degree preferred or actively pursuing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in a similar role
- Experience in operational management and healthcare marketing
- Strong knowledge of certification and regulatory guidelines
- Proven success leading diverse teams across multiple disciplines
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused “can-do” attitude
